Sébastien Grégoire is a seasoned vibration analysis and condition monitoring expert, currently serving as the Technical Referent for Vibrations at Laborelec, part of the ENGIE Group. 

Sébastien's career began in 1999 at Laborelec, where he contributed to the development and deployment of LVMS, an advanced vibration monitoring system for large turbomachinery.

From 2007 to 2010, Sébastien led the Condition Monitoring, Condition Assessment, and Predictive Maintenance project, and subsequently managed the Diagnostic Center, which provided remote monitoring services for power plants within the ENGIE group. His expertise extends to managing vibrations and mechanics departments, overseeing the remote monitoring of over 100 heavy-duty shaft lines globally.

Since 2022, Sébastien has been pivotal in driving Laborelec's vibration-related activities and is leading the Engie R&I project on “Innovative Solutions for Thermal Assets O&M Excellence.” His extensive experience in vibration analysis and predictive maintenance positions him as a leading voice in the field.

Radial vibrations

Sébastien Grégoire will present a case study on radial vibrations, focusing on efficient methods for analysing and mitigating these vibrations in rotating machinery. His presentation will explore advanced diagnostic techniques and real-world applications, highlighting how these approaches can improve system reliability and performance. 

Drawing from extensive experience in vibration analysis and condition monitoring, Sébastien will discuss the challenges of radial vibrations and propose effective solutions based on his work with Laborelec's monitoring systems.
