1978
Established with a mission to advance Rotor Track and Balance (RTB) equipment technology.
1982
Introduced the Rotorturner Mk1, the world's first microprocessor-based track and balance system.
1985
Launched the RT-5, marking a significant redesign of the Rotortuner Mk1, with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) as its inaugural customer.
1991
Released the Sentinel Balancer, a comprehensive solution for both single and multi-engine aircraft.
1996
Debuted the RT-2000, featuring advanced algorithms to minimize aircraft downtime.
2000
Relocated headquarters to Torrington, Devon, following the acquisition by Beran Instruments Limited.
2002
Introduced the RT-5JS+, extending the lifecycle of RT-5 through collaboration with the UK MoD and unveiling the Mk2 Line Scan Camera. Also launched RT-Vision, Helitune's ground station software, alongside opening subsidiary offices in Germany (Helitune GmbH) and the USA (Helitune Inc).
2006
Acquired System & Electronics Inc (SEI) and formed the Condition Monitoring Group (CMG). Introduced the RT-JEM (Jet Engine Monitor) to the market.
2008
Released the RT-EVA (Engine Vibration Analyser), enhancing diagnostic capabilities.
2009
Developed RT-Tip Trak, pioneering blade tracking technology for permanent aircraft installation.
2010
Innovated the Minimum Flight Routine (MFR) Algorithm, optimising RTB maintenance procedures.
2011
Collaborated with ZF Luftfahrttechnik to develop the In-Flight Tuning (IFT) system.
2013
Introduced the Helitune Flitepad / RT-HHT to enhance operational efficiency.
2014
Completed initial flight trials of the IFT system.
2015
Established Helitune Srl in Italy, expanding global presence.
2017
Released HT-VHM, supporting Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) and HUMS applications.
2020
Integrated Semia SAS into the Condition Monitoring Group (CMG) to bolster operations in the French market.
2021
Welcomed DJB Instruments, renowned for accelerometers and calibration services, into CMG Ltd.
2022
Rebranded parent company to Condition Monitoring Technology Group (CMTG) Ltd. for clearer alignment.
