SEMIA officially declares Syntham2000 obsolescence
Syntham2000 is a ground support equipment dedicated to engine vibration control on Safran helicopter engines.
It entered the market in 1996 and 300 units have been sold in more than 40 countries.
Semia anticipated this obsolescence many years ago, with the development of Syntham5000.
Syntham5000 is a modern and intuitive GSE allowing to perform engine vibration control and rotor track and balance measurements with one single piece of equipment.
It also owns other advantages like its EVC junction-box with two accelerometer channels (allowing to reduce the number of engine starts requested on some specific engine variants) and its compatibility with all sensors on the market.
