Beran Celebrates 40 Years of excellence
Beran, a proud member of the CMTG family, recently celebrated its 40th anniversary, marking a remarkable journey of innovation and leadership in condition monitoring solutions. Founded in 1984 by Andy Lobato, Beran has become a global leader in advanced online condition monitoring and vibration equipment solutions.
Since its inception, Beran has become a cornerstone of the Condition Monitoring Technology Group (CMTG), expanding its capabilities through strategic acquisitions, including Helitune, Prosig, DJB Instruments, Semia, and SEI. These acquisitions have strengthened Beran’s offerings across power generation, aerospace, and automotive engineering industries.
The company’s flagship products, including the PlantProtech protection and condition monitoring systems and PlantProtech Mobile, exemplify its expertise in protecting and monitoring critical rotating assets such as turbines, generators, and pumps. These solutions, trusted worldwide, provide advanced capabilities for applications ranging from vibration diagnostics to machine protection.
The celebrations also marked a significant milestone in the company’s history—Andy Lobato’s official retirement as CEO in October. His legacy of innovation and commitment to the company’s principles—Quality, Innovation, and Service—remains a cornerstone of Beran’s ethos.
Paul Knight, Beran’s newly appointed CEO, now leads the company into its next chapter. With over four decades of expertise, Beran continues to support industries worldwide with cutting-edge solutions, exemplifying its tradition of excellence.
To commemorate this milestone, the Torrington team gathered for a group photo, symbolising the shared dedication and camaraderie that have driven Beran’s success. The company remains committed to empowering industries with reliable, performance-enhancing technologies while upholding its tradition of excellence.
Here’s to the next 40 years of innovation and success at Beran!
